Barry is currently the Vice President of the ABDO becoming President in September 08. Additionally he is an Examiner and sits on the Executive Committee of Optometry Scotland. Enjoys playing football and watching Hearts although the latter has become very difficult with all the Hibs supporters in Erskines!
